A beginner Firearms Class that is Fun and Informative! Designed for those that are brand new to the world of firearms, RDA can guide your journey. Intro to Firearms covers the basics, focusing on safety, culminating at the range for live fire familiarization. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Earn your Illinois Concealed Carry Permit.   During this class we expose you to the laws and legal definitions that revolve around concealed carry. We ensure you are confident and capable enough to carry a firearm concealed in public. RDA believes in everyone’s right to survive and we encourage any lawful person who wants to pursue the training and knowledge necessary to protect themselves, regardless of where they are or when they or their family are in danger.  

 This class is for anyone who currently possesses an Illinois Concealed Carry License (CCL) who needs to renew their credentials.  1 hour at the range, and 2 hours in the classroom.

The Practical Defensive Handgun class is a 4 hour course for CCW holders and those thinking about carrying a concealed weapon for self-defense. The training is split 25% actively learning and 75% actively shooting on a smokeless laser range.  We use simulated range, video, and scenario based learning to develop your concealed pistol manipulation skills, enhance your basic pistol marksmanship skills, and develop key decision making abilities. This class is not to earn your CCW permit - it's to learn how to have the mindset and thought process to use a concealed weapon. 

Mastering the Basics is a course designed to improve the student's ability with a pistol. This course will build on the weapons systems foundation and give you knowledge to take your skillset to the next level.  This course is for the intermediate shooter, we expect that you have a basic level of understanding of handgun use and safety when you take this course. (we will ask you provide proof of prior knowledge/training)

This System uses recoil enabled, infra-red training guns to simulate the most Realistic Training Environment.

Training for individuals or small groups is available by appointment.

We offer personalized training in all areas of defensive firearms use – from basic safety & storage to advanced tactics to help you defend those you love in the most efficient way.

This is a classroom-only course with no live-fire range time. An NRA Certified Metallic Cartridge Reloading Instructor will teach you everything you need to know in order to reload centerfire ammunition. Then you will reload your first metallic cartridge.

 Learn to confidently transition from iron sights to red dot optics with expert instruction tailored for civilian shooters. This 2-hour course uses simulator-based training to build accuracy, speed, and real-world readiness.
